Hope you all have wonderful plans to lay around and do nothing this weekend. Or at least to do something really fun.
I discovered Agritourism yesterday while grazing the net. We’ve all heard of Dude Ranches, but apparently in the last few years Farm Stays have become really popular. A city dweller, like myself, can spend a couple days and nights pretending to work hard and then go home. Yee Haa!!!
Not lookin to get branded!
I think the site has a few cattle ranches also for those of you in search of the illusive Cowboy of the old west, or rather a cattle drive.
There is one big drawback to the site.
I could not find an amenity that referred to cute cowboys. Or Hot Ranch Dudes, or even Marlboro Men!
Maybe a little more rump with those chaps?
And I was looking for the sole purpose of informing ya’ll about the level of entertainment…nothing more.
Also, watch for food. Unless you like to cook your own meals on vacation be sure all home cooking is provided by their home, not yours.
Check it out and help the farmers keep their farms.

ok, i can’t claim that i myself would be interested or willing to do something like this, but it is definitely a neat idea. i know some people who would love to get hands on at a ranch or farm. neat!
It’s not for everyone that’s the truth. You can always pass it on or use it as a great conversation starter Hah!
